CONCLUSION: Come to the End of Yourself
In this book, scientific, prophetic, physical, archaeological, and cognitive evidence was presented which strongly supports that the Bible is true. However, there is no scientific proof that the Bible is true. For many readers, the lack of scientific proof is a stumbling block that prevents them from becoming Christians.
In order to find God, a person must “come to the end of yourself” and pray that God would show them what the truth is (Luke 15:17). In the Bible, the concept of “coming to the end of yourself” is a sign of desperation because a person finally realizes that they cannot solve everything on their own. Also, “coming to the end of yourself” is the moment when a person turns from self-reliance and completely leans on God’s strength.
Further, to find true peace, a person must become a Christian. To become a Christian, a person must accept Jesus Christ’s death on the cross for their sins and completely repent of their sins. Here is example prayer that a person can pray to become a Christian: “Dear God, I know that I have sinned and done wrong things. I’m sorry for my sins. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sins and rose again. Please forgive me and help me live for you. Thank you for loving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen”.¹ After praying this prayer, a person must completely repent of their sins. In the Bible, repentances involves completely turning away from sins and choosing to follow God (Acts 2:38, Acts 3:19, and 2 Corinthians 7:10).
Becoming a Christian and following Jesus Christ involves total devotion. A person must completely deny themselves, completely repent of their sins, prioritize Jesus Christ above possessions and their family, and willing choose to face rejection and suffering. Following Jesus Christ demands everything that you have now, but it offers eternal life in heaven (Matthew 16:24-25).
